Our Story: Since 2009

Vintage Sports Clothing began in 2009 as an online business specialising in vintage and classic football shirts, sports jerseys, and vintage clothing from sports brands.

Seventeen years and more than 100,000 shirts sold later, our journey has taken us from warehouse shelves to a physical shop in Albufeira, Portugal.

Our commitment is simple: we sell only original, authentic items.

No counterfeits or fakes.

Where It All Started

For our first nine years, we operated exclusively online, working from a warehouse and building our reputation one sale at a time.

By 2017, our eBay account had reached a feedback score of 24,450, with 100% positive feedback.

It remains a proud milestone, reflecting the trust our customers placed in us during our early online years.

Our First Shop: Alvor, April 2018

In April 2018, we opened our first physical shop in Alvor.

After years of selling online, we could welcome customers in person and give them the chance to explore our collection up close.

A New Chapter in Albufeira

The COVID pandemic forced us to close our Alvor shop, but it wasn’t the end of our story. In 2022,

we opened a new shop in Albufeira, where you can still find us today.

Since opening, we’ve continued to develop the space,

changing its layout and decoration along the way.

Today, you can discover our collection both online and in person at our Albufeira shop.

Taking Our Collection to Lisbon

In February 2023, we held our first pop-up shop in Lisbon.

Since then, we’ve returned for more events at Anjos 70, LX Market and Feira na Avenida,

bringing our collection to different corners of the city and meeting more people who share a love of classic football shirts.

Different Names, the Same Journey

We started as Sports & Supporters, became Vintage Sports, and later adopted the name you know today: Vintage Sports Clothing.

These five logos trace that evolution, from our earliest identity to our current look.
